How long do in-chair whitening results last?
12 to 24 months on average, depending on diet and habits. Coffee, tea, red wine, smoking, and dark curries all restain the teeth over time. A top-up session every 12 to 18 months keeps the result bright. Take-home trays with a few days of gel are a common way to top up.
Can I whiten my teeth if I have crowns or veneers?
No. Whitening gel does not change the colour of porcelain, composite, or other restorative materials. Whitening only lifts stains from natural tooth structure. What is the difference between in-chair and take-home whitening?

Will whitening work on tetracycline stains?
