ORCHARD HILLS
Dentist Orchard Hills.
Orchard Hills is semi-rural, and a full-service clinic close to home isn’t something every household there has. We’re at Shop T12, Southlands Shopping Centre, 2 Birmingham Road, South Penrith NSW 2750, about 7 km away, a 10 to 14 minute drive. Four clinicians, 14 services across general, cosmetic and restorative care, and same-day emergency appointments most weekdays.
Why Orchard Hills families choose Bella Dental
For a lot of Orchard Hills residents, getting to any full-service clinic means a drive regardless of where you go. Jamison Road or Wentworth Road gets you into South Penrith in under fifteen minutes, and parking at Southlands is free and easy once you’re there.
What sets us apart for Orchard Hills patients:
- Around 10 to 14 minutes away, via Jamison Road, Ninth Avenue or Wentworth Road.
- Good with kids at every stage, first check-up through to teenage orthodontics, and a Sunflower Aware Practice for patients with invisible disabilities.
- Four clinicians plus an oral health therapist, covering general, cosmetic and restorative care.
- We don’t rush anxious patients. Longer appointments, a stop signal, sedation options. Plenty of people we see haven’t had a check-up in years.
- Medipay lets you spread a larger treatment plan over time, interest free.
- All the major health funds are accepted.
- Emergency slots are held open every day, for pain, swelling, breaks and knocked-out teeth.
Principal dentist Dr Geoff Wan holds a BSc in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Dentistry, and is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr Alfred Tao (B.Dent Hons, B.Pharm) and Dr Leon Low (B.Dent) round out the clinical team, along with an oral health therapist.
How far is Bella Dental from Orchard Hills?
About 7 km. Outside peak hours that’s 10 to 14 minutes; in the afternoon peak, allow 18 to 20.
Driving:
- North via Wentworth Road or Ninth Avenue onto Jamison Road, then through to Southlands.
- Homestead Road and Jamison Road suit the eastern side of the suburb better.
- The Southlands car park is free, with entries off Birmingham Road and Maxwell Street.
Public transport:
- Bus services through Orchard Hills are limited, so most people drive. If you're relying on public transport, a bus to Penrith station followed by a short taxi or rideshare is the most workable route.
Cycling or walking:
- Orchard Hills is spread out enough that walking isn't realistic for most residents. Cycling works for those nearer South Penrith, around 20 to 25 minutes, but a short drive is easier for most of the suburb.
Treatments available for Orchard Hills patients
14 services under one roof means most treatment plans don’t need an outside referral.

What is Orchard Hills known for?
Orchard Hills is semi-rural, known for acreage properties, equestrian facilities, and its proximity to RAAF Base Glenbrook and the Orchard Hills rail precinct earmarked for future development. Families here tend to value the space and the quieter pace, while still wanting easy access to Penrith.
Appointment times are flexible to suit the drive in, pricing stays upfront, and all major health funds are accepted. A lot of our Orchard Hills patients travel further than most, so we try to make each visit count.
